God of all power and love,
we give thanks for your unfailing presence and the hope you provide in times of uncertainty and loss.
Send your Holy Spirit to enkindle in us your holy fire.
Revive us to live as Christ's body in the world:
a people who pray, worship, learn,
break bread, share life, heal neighbors,
bear good news, seek justice, rest and grow in the Spirit.
Wherever and however we gather,
unite us in common prayer and send us in common mission,
that we and the whole creation might be restored and renewed,
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Community Outreach and Beyond
Outreach can be described in many ways. It must be interconnected to all the other Commissions to ensure that every project undertaken embodies the "whole" of spiritual, religious and Christian essence that is St. Paul's.
St. Paul's has a rich heritage of helping people and the community through values and worth projects. We provide consistent support to the local Food Pantry, Crop Walk for World Hunger, Rescue Mission, Vacation Bible School, school kits for local children, Habitat for Humanity, Episcopal Relief Fund, Trick or Treat for UNICEF, El Salvador Children's relief.....the list is long and demonstrates true Living in Grace.
Outreach provides more occasions to "open-up" St. Paul's and expand our faith community by inviting people to explore what is here, following our path of Evangelism. It also strengthens the congregation and St. Paul's through joint Commission activities, and expanding ecumenical access and involvement.
It is a wonderful way to serve!

The mission of St. Pauly is to collect usable clothing, shoes, sneakers, belts, purses, linen, blankets and drapes...all to distribute those donations to people that can use them in the United States and in developing countries. Instead of ending up in landfills, these items join with others collected from over 200 other sheds throughout central and western New York, get processed, and distributed world wide. In 2007, more than 38 million garments were distributed to an estimated 3.8 million people.
